The new year looms and with it those futile amusements otherwise known as New Year's Resolutions.
I am wise enough to know that blogging every day won't be one of them, but I did decide that a major "declutter" was in order. After all, clutter is living in the past. It also costs you time and money. When you move, it can cost you a lot of money.
Besides, it was about time, vide:
This corner, with its artistically arranged stack of boxes and other essential debris, is a relic of work done by my apartment building management back in March 2005. (They were upgrading the electrical wiring and I consequently had to empty my living room closet. Then they were going to install airconditioning... Well, still no airconditioning — which is a Good Thing — but it's definitely time to get on with my life.)
So much for living in the past. In the process of going through boxes, I found an aquarelle sketch from 1991:
